Posterior Composite Masterclass
Course Description
Posterior Composite Masterclass
Course Date & Details
📅 Date: Sunday, 29th March,2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🪪 CPD Hours: GDC Verifiable 7 CPD Hours
📍 Venue: UB1 1SQ, Sage Academy, Southall, London
Educational Aim
To provide clinicians with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to confidently diagnose, plan, and deliver predictable posterior composite restorations, including Class I, Class II, stamp technique, and composite onlays for fractured teeth.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
1. Explain
the material science principles of modern composite resins.
2. Describe
different adhesive systems and select appropriate bonding protocols.
3. Demonstrate
correct cavity preparation for Class I and Class II restorations.
4. Achieve
predictable proximal contact and contour using sectional matrix systems.
5. Apply
the stamp technique appropriately in selected cases.
6. Identify
indications for cuspal coverage and composite onlays.
7. Perform
adhesive protocols for composite onlays.
8. Recreate
functional occlusal anatomy in posterior restorations.
9. Apply
correct finishing and polishing techniques.
10. Assess
occlusion and adjust restorations appropriately.
